California High School Football - St. Ignatius drops to Serra
October 8, 2011: San Francisco, CA 94116 In Saturday's league game, the Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA) football team knocked off the host St. Ignatius Wildcats (San Francisco, CA), by a final score of 49-28.
The Padres (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs come into the West Catholic game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Archbishop Mitty toppled St. Francis (Mountain View, CA), 21-17, in a league game.
The Wildcats now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Valley Christian for a West Catholic game on Saturday, October 15. St. Ignatius will battle a Warriors team coming off a 48-6 league loss to Bellarmine (San Jose, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.
