In Friday's league outing, the Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS) basketball squad edged the visiting West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS), by a margin of 72-71.

The Tigers (12-10) will now prepare for their outing against Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 12-11 record. In their last outing, Northeast Lauderdale nipped Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS), 63-55, in a league outing.

The Green Wave now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Lauderdale for a 4A Region 4 outing on Friday, February 6.
