California High School Basketball - Faith Baptist crushes Cate
December 17, 2014: Carpinteria, CA 93013 Faith Baptist Contenders (Canoga Park, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Cate Rams (Carpinteria, CA), 75-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Faith Baptist upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Contenders host Notre Dame de La Salette Boys Academy (Georgetown, IL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 18. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Rams play the Grace Brethren Lancers (Simi Valley, CA) in a Frontier bout, on Wednesday, January 7. Cate will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Lancers go into the test with a 3-3 record after their 60-32 non-league win over Garden Street Academy (Santa Barbara, CA).
