In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) basketball squad beat the host Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ), by a count of 54-39.

The Jaguars (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Alhambra gained a win over Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ), 60-59, in a non-league outing.
