February 9, 2013: Newark, OH 43055 The Logan Chieftains basketball team (Logan, OH), was overwhelmed 63-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Newark Wildcats (Newark, OH)
The Wildcats now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lancaster for a Ohio Capital - Ohio contest on Friday, February 15.
The Chieftains (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH). The Trojans enter the Southeastern Ohio contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Portsmouth triumphed over Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH), 67-48, in a league contest.
