The Wildcats now hold a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange Lutheran for a non-league outing on Friday, May 25. West Ranch will confront a Lancers team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 23-4.
Game Summary
In an errorless game, West Ranch was able to outslug the Cougars and advance to the quarterfinals against Orange Lutheran. Losing pitcher, Andrew Richards, was 2 for 3 at the plate with a double and a homerun. Tyler Gnesda was also 2 for 3 as was Casey Bennett, who drove in two runs.
