January 14, 2010: Charlotte, NC 28270 The Christ Greenies routed the host Providence Day Chargers basketball team by a final score of 75-49 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Greenies face the Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 16. Christ will attempt to move on its 19-1 season record. The Hurricane enter the game with a 7-1 record after their 69-42 league win over Turpin (Cincinnati, OH).
With the defeat, Providence Day moves to 6-9 on the year. The Chargers travel to Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC) to face the Knights in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent Schools game on Tuesday, January 19. The Knights enter the game with a record of 15-3. Charlotte Christian won 66-64 in their recent non-league game against Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC)
