The Hays Indians basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Central Mustangs to 50 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberal for a Western Athletic contest on Friday, February 14. Hays will battle a Redskins team coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to Guymon (Guymon, OK). The Redskins record now stands at 5-10.

The Mustangs (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Derby (Derby, KS). The Panthers enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Derby nudged Maize (Maize, KS), 82-78, in a league contest.
