In Thursday's league contest, the Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) volleyball squad were winner over the host Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Blazers face the West Memphis Blue Devils (West Memphis, AR) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 22. Valley View will attempt to better on its 17-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR).

With the loss, Highland moves to 4-15 on the year. The Rebels travel to Wynne (Wynne, AR) to face the Yellowjackets in a 5A/6A District 3 contest on Tuesday, September 25. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a record of 9-7.
