Illinois High School Basketball - Elk Grove crushes Clemente
November 27, 2010: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clemente Wildcats (Chicago, IL), 53-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Elk Grove upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Grenadiers travel to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 30. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Hoffman Estates won 67-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Harlan (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Clark Prep Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public Blue - West challenge, on Wednesday, December 1. Clemente will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 86-15 league win over Manley (Chicago, IL).
