New York High School Basketball - Holy Spirit knocked off by Christ the King
February 19, 2011: Middle Village, NY 11379 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Christ the King Royals basketball team scored a good 48-38 triumph over the Holy Spirit Spartans.
In their next game, the Royals confront the Nazareth Kingsmen (Brooklyn, NY) in a Catholic Brooklyn/Queens I match, on Wednesday, February 23. Christ the King will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record.
With the defeat, Holy Spirit moves to 19-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ) to confront the Tornadoes in a non-league match on Monday, February 21. The Tornadoes enter the match with a record of 21-0.
