Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Torrington Red Raiders (Torrington, CT), 77-73 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Seymour upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Kaynor Tech (Waterbury, CT) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 6-11. Kaynor Tech lost 70-52 in their recent non-league bout against Kennedy (Waterbury, CT)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Torrington will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record.
