Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) and the host Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA), saw Ponderosa's baseball squad knock off Sheldon by a count of 4-1.

Next up, the Bruins confront the Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA) in a Delta River match, on Saturday, April 21. Ponderosa will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 5-10 record after their 12-0 league loss to Jesuit (Carmichael, CA).

The Huskies (10-8) will now prepare for their match against Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Trojans go into the Delta River match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, Oak Ridge by Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA), 4-3, in a league match.
