The Marion Giants (Marion, IN) basketball crushed the host Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN), 52-28 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Giants (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Logansport (Logansport, IN). The Berries go into the North Central test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Logansport was trounced by Benton Central (Oxford, IN), 55-39, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Alexandria-Monroe for a Central Indiana test on Friday, January 12. Elwood will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 54-43 non-league loss to Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 11-7.
