Alabama High School Basketball - Jacksonville ripped by Hoover
December 28, 2009: Hoover, AL 35244 The Hoover Buccaneers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Jacksonville Golden Eagles to 37 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league contest on Monday, December 28. Hoover will confront a Falcons team coming off a 63-48 non-league loss to Greenville-Weston (Greenville, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 1-7.
The Golden Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Oxford was routed by Thomasville (Thomasville, AL), 70-58, in a non-league contest.
