January 24, 2017: Concord, NC 28027 The Gaston Christian Eagles basketball team (Gastonia, NC), was overwhelmed 66-15 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Concord First Assembly Academy Eagles (Concord, NC)
The Eagles now possess a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gaston Day for a NCISAA Metrolina battle on Friday, January 27. Concord First Assembly Academy will battle a Spartans team coming off a 77-34 league win over SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 6-10.
The Eagles (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Lions come into the NCISAA Metrolina battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Hickory Grove Christian was overwhelmed by Northside Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC), 51-48, in a league battle.
