September 2, 2016: Burnsville, NC 28714 The Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) football routed the visiting North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC), 62-13 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 9. Mountain Heritage will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 44-22 non-league loss to Madison (Marshall, NC).
