California High School Football - Tesoro succumbs to Lakewood
September 8, 2006: Las Flores, CA 92688 Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Tesoro Titans (Las Flores, CA), 28-17 in a non-league challenge.
The Lancers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mayfair for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. Lakewood will clash with a Monsoons squad coming off a 37-6 non-league win over Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA). The Monsoons record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Tesoro moves to 0-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Lutheran (Orange, CA) to battle the Lancers in a non-league test on Friday, September 15. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Lutheran won 35-6 in their recent non-league test against Lancaster (Lancaster, CA)
