The Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN), 36-32 in Friday's league test.

The Trojans (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN). The Panthers go into the Wabash River test with a 3-3 record.

The Mustangs now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Sheridan for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7.
