Kentucky High School Football - Russellville gets by Todd County Central
September 16, 2011: Russellville, KY 42276 The Russellville Panthers football squad scored 15 points and restricted the visiting Todd County Central Rebels to 14 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Franklin-Simpson nipped Caldwell County (Princeton, KY), 61-13, in a non-league challenge.
The Rebels now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to McLean County for a 2A District 2 challenge on Friday, September 23. Todd County Central will meet a Cougars team coming off a 69-0 non-league loss to Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 0-5.
