Pennsylvania High School Football - Lewisburg held off by Shikellamy

August 29, 2014: Lewisburg, PA 17837

In Friday's non-league game, the Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) football team tipped the host Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA), by a final score of 21-20.

The Braves (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA). The Bulldogs come into the Heartland I game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Jersey Shore got by Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA), 31-7, in a non-league game.

The Green Dragons now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montoursville for a non-league game on Friday, September 5. Lewisburg will battle a Warriors team coming off a 38-36 non-league win over South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
