October 7, 2011: Covington, KY 41014 Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), 25-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, Holmes improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY) to meet the Bluebirds in a 4A District 7 game on Friday, October 14. The Bluebirds come into the game with a record of 7-0. Highlands won 79-0 in their recent league game against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY)
The Thorobreds now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Covington Catholic for a 4A District 7 game on Friday, October 14. Harrison County will meet a Colonels team coming off a 64-0 league win over Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 5-2.
