Pennsylvania High School Football - Danville can't get by Central Columbia
September 12, 2009: Bloomsburg, PA 17815 Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA), 9-7 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Central Columbia improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA) to confront the Indians in a Heartland II test on Friday, September 18. The Indians come into the test with a record of 0-2. Shamokin Area lost 33-6 in their recent league test against Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA)
With the loss, Danville drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Ironmen host Athens (Athens, PA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 18. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-1. Athens lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Wyalusing Valley Area (Wyalusing, PA)
