North Carolina High School Basketball - East Lincoln knocked off by Maiden

January 11, 2017: Maiden, NC 28650

The Maiden Blue Devils basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting East Lincoln Mustangs to 56 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Wednesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincolnton for a Southern District 7 2A contest on Friday, January 13. Maiden will meet a Wolves team coming off a 62-54 league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 7-5.

The Mustangs (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels enter the Southern District 7 2A contest with a 1-14 record.
