Kentucky High School Football - Greenup County routs East Carter
September 21, 2018: Grayson, KY 41143 The Greenup County Musketeers football squad scored 61 points and restricted the host East Carter Raiders to 24 in the Musketeers league victory on Friday.
The Musketeers now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glasgow for a non-league battle on Friday, September 28. Greenup County will play a Scotties squad coming off a 48-21 non-league loss to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Scotties record now stands at 5-1.
Coming up next, the Raiders play the Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) in a 4A District 8 battle, on Friday, September 28. East Carter will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 48-7 league win over Boyd County (Ashland, KY).
