The Central Valley Falcons held off the host Yreka Miners volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Falcons now have a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sutter for a non-league test on Friday, September 16. Central Valley will confront a Huskies team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 6-10.

The Miners (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Lassen was nudged by Portola (Portola, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
