The Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) basketball crushed the host Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ), 56-30 in Thursday's league test.

The Cougars (18-6) will now prepare for their test against Sabino (Tucson, AZ). The Sabercats go into the 4A Kino test with a 10-14 record. In their last test, Sabino walloped Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ), 37-29, in a league test.

The Jaguars now own a 1-15 record. They take the field next when they host Cienega for a 4A Kino test on Friday, January 30. Desert View will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 61-58 league win over Nogales (Nogales, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 16-5.
