The Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC), 86-53 in Friday's non-league test.

The Golden Lions (5-0) will now prepare for their test against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, South Point was trounced by East Lincoln (Denver, NC), 68-64, in a non-league test.

The Mountaineers now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Chase for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 11. Kings Mountain will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 64-58 non-league win over Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.
