August 26, 2011: Arlington, TX 76012 The Cooper Cougars volleyball team (Abilene, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX)
The Vikings (7-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX). The Friars enter the non-league challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last bout, Bishop Lynch was outscored by Northwest (Justin, TX), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
The Cougars now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sweetwater for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. Cooper will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Jefferson (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
