The Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Kent Place Dragons (Summit, NJ), 59-57 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Dragons now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newark Academy for a non-league test on Friday, February 19. Kent Place will clash with a Minutemen squad coming off a 60-40 non-league win over Central Regional (Bayville, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 9-4.
