Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) and the host Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), saw Galena's basketball squad overcome Hug by a count of 69-57.

With the victory, Galena upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV) to play the Miners in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 14. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Bishop Manogue lost 64-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Hawks play the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 14. Hug will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Toros come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 52-46 non-league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
