Kentucky High School Basketball - Jeffersontown overwhelms Middletown
December 30, 2010: Louisville, KY 40299 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Jeffersontown Chargers (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Middletown Middies (Middletown, OH), saw Jeffersontown's basketball squad trounce Middletown by a score of 86-63.
With the victory, Jeffersontown improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Chargers host Eastern (Louisville, KY) to battle the Eagles in a District 28 challenge on Friday, January 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-1.
Next up, the Middies battle the Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) in a Greater Miami challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. Middletown will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 70-56 non-league win over Hughes Center (Cincinnati, OH).
