Williamstown Blue Devils (Williamstown, VT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sharon Academy Phoenix (Sharon, VT), 54-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Williamstown upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Twinfield (Plainfield, VT) to clash with the Trojans in a CVL - South bout on Thursday, January 7. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Phoenix clash with the South Royalton Royals (South Royalton, VT) in a CVL - South bout, on Thursday, January 7. Sharon Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record.
