Louisiana High School Basketball - DeRidder falls to Pickering
December 2, 2010: Leesville, LA 71446 The Pickering Red Devils basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting DeRidder Dragons to 60 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Red Devils now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rapides for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 7. Pickering will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 93-57 non-league win over Bolton (Alexandria, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-1.
The Dragons (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Golden Tors enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Sulphur ran past Richwood (Monroe, LA), 38-35, in a non-league contest.
