In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting East Chapel Hill Wildcats basketball team scored a good 55-39 triumph over the Northwood Chargers.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Southern Spartans (Durham, NC) in a 4A PAC 6 match, on Friday, January 6. East Chapel Hill will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 5-5 record after their 60-55 non-league win over Riverside (Durham, NC).
