Nebraska High School Basketball - South Platte holds off Stapleton
January 12, 2019: Stapleton, NE 69163 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE) and the host Stapleton Broncos (Stapleton, NE), saw South Platte's basketball squad hold off Stapleton by a tally of 36-34.
With the victory, South Platte improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Blue Knights host Leyton (Dalton, NE) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 15. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Leyton won 58-15 in their recent league challenge against Potter-Dix (Potter, NE)
Next up, the Broncos confront the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 17. Stapleton will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record.
