The Kosciusko Whippets baseball team (Kosciusko, MS), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Friday's league outing with the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS)

The Trojans now hold a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Lauderdale for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 14. New Hope will confront a Knights team coming off a 11-0 league win over Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Knights record now stands at 20-2.

Next, the Whippets confront the Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 14. Kosciusko will attempt to advance on its 11-10 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 15-7 record after their 12-1 league win over Forest (Forest, MS).
