October 9, 2014: Deltona, FL 32725 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Tavares Bulldogs football squad scored a close 21-18 victory over the Deltona Wolves.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders (Orlando, FL) in a 5A District 11 match, on Friday, October 17. Tavares will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Highlanders enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 48-7 non-league loss to Admiral Farragut (St. Petersburg, FL).
The Wolves (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Seabreeze (Daytona Beach, FL). The Sandcrabs enter the 6A District 9 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Seabreeze was nudged by Cocoa (Cocoa, FL), 19-3, in a non-league match.
