Ohio High School Baseball - Fairless loses to Tuslaw
April 18, 2014: Navarre, OH 44662 In Friday's league game, the visiting Tuslaw Mustangs baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Fairless Falcons.
The Mustangs (10-0) will now prepare for their game against Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Northwest overcame Dover (Dover, OH), 7-6, in a non-league game.
The Falcons (2-10) will now prepare for their game against East Canton (East Canton, OH). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
Game Summary
The Fairless Falcons lost tonight to their arch rival Tuslaw Mustangs 10-0 in 6 innings. The game was a great pitching duel all the way into 5th, and Tuslaw was finally able to break through. The Falcons were able to get two outs in the inning, before Ben Wake drove a ball to dead center for a 2 run triple. After an error, Tuslaw was able add three more in the fifth. The loss drops the Falcons record to 2-10 overall and 0-8 in the league. The batteries were Meyer and Priest for Tuslaw, and Williams, Tucker (5) and Sword.
