The Matadors now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tascosa for a non-league battle on Friday, December 14. Estacado will confront a Rebels team coming off a 65-58 non-league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 7-5.
The Rockets (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Austin (El Paso, TX). The Panthers come into the 5A Region I District 1 battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Austin was overwhelmed by Bowie (El Paso, TX), 54-51, in a non-league battle.
