October 8, 2005: Westborough, MA 01581 The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers edged the host Westborough Rangers football team by a score of 6-2 in Saturday's non-league game.
The Mountaineers (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA). The Colonials enter the Division I game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Shrewsbury was edged by Algonquin Regional (Shrewsbury, MA), 14-7, in a non-league game.
The Rangers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Milford for a Division IA game on Friday, October 14. Westborough will meet a Hawks team coming off a 21-7 league loss to Marlborough (Milford, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.
