The Benjamin Russell Wildcats football squad scored 23 points and restricted the visiting Chilton County Tigers to 13 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Opelika for a 6A Region 3 battle on Friday, October 5. Benjamin Russell will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 28-0 non-league loss to Central (Phenix City, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL) in a 5A Region 3 battle, on Friday, October 12. Chilton County will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record.
