September 17, 2010: River Ridge, LA 70123 In Friday's non-league game, the Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) football team tipped the host Curtis Patriots (River Ridge, LA), by a final score of 28-21.
The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA). The Cardinals come into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Belle Chasse got by Clark (New Orleans, LA), 41-12, in a non-league game.
The Patriots now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newman for a 2A District 9 game on Friday, September 24. Curtis will battle a Greenies team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Greenies record now stands at 3-0.
