The Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN) basketball nipped the host Roosevelt Rough Riders (Sioux Falls, SD), 43-38 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Scarlets go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Mankato West got by Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN), 74-56, in a league test.
