Texas High School Basketball - Slaton tops Post
December 15, 2017: Post, TX 79356 Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Post Antelopes (Post, TX), 45-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Slaton upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Littlefield (Littlefield, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Littlefield lost 63-59 in their recent non-league bout against Brownfield (Brownfield, TX)
Next up, the Antelopes play the Plains Cowboys (Plains, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Post will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cowboys come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 65-55 non-league win over Springlake-Earth (Earth, TX).
