Missouri High School Basketball - St. Joseph Christian ripped by Stanberry
January 6, 2017: Stanberry, MO 64489 The Stanberry Bulldogs basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting St. Joseph Christian Lions to 51 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Andrew for a Grand River contest on Tuesday, January 17. Stanberry will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 78-48 non-league win over South Nodaway (Barnard, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-0.
The Lions (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Worth County (Grant City, MO). The Tigers enter the Grand River contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Worth County was routed by Braymer (Braymer, MO), 40-33, in a league contest.
