April 16, 2018: Miami, FL 33157 Southridge Spartans (Miami, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hialeah Thoroughbreds (Hialeah, FL), 14-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Southridge upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Spartans host Palmetto (Miami, FL) to battle the Panthers in a 9A District 16 test on Wednesday, April 18. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 16-3. Palmetto lost 7-3 in their recent non-league test against Coral Gables (Coral Gables, FL)
With the defeat, Hialeah falls to 4-11 on the season. The Thoroughbreds host Somerset Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 17. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 9-12. Somerset Academy won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
