December 30, 2008: Ennis, TX 75119 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX) and the host Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX), saw McKinney North's basketball squad overcome Ennis by a count of 65-55.
With the victory, McKinney North upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to McKinney (McKinney, TX) to play the Lions in a 4A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, January 6. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. McKinney won 75-37 in their recent league challenge against Frisco (Frisco, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Waco Lions (Waco, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 challenge, on Friday, January 2. Ennis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 63-50 non-league win over Hearne (Hearne, TX).
