South Dakota High School Basketball - Canistota knocked off by Scotland
February 16, 2016: Scotland, SD 57059 The Scotland Highlanders basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Canistota Hawks to 43 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tripp-Delmont/Armour for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 18. Scotland will battle a Nighthawks team coming off a 62-45 league win over Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD). The Nighthawks record now stands at 9-9.
The Hawks (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Viborg/Hurley ran past Menno (Menno, SD), 54-25, in a non-league contest.
