In Friday's league match, the host Penn Wood Patriots football squad scored a big 48-16 victory over the Glen Mills Battling Bulls.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Chichester Eagles (Boothwyn, PA) in a Delaware Valley match, on Friday, October 19. Penn Wood will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 29-27 league loss to Interboro (Prospect Park, PA).
